My name is Caleb Epps, known online by most as Singroff. I am the developer and creator of Immersive Poetry. I have always had a passion for literature as a subject, stemming from my enjoyment of the English language. I love to read things, anything really. My favorite author is the famed fantasy writer George R.R. Martin. He wrote the series that would lead to my entanglement with books, A Song of Ice and Fire.

I have also developed a love for poetry. I find the play on words, the rhymes, the symbolism, and the subjects to be entertaining as well as thought-provoking. My high school English teacher developed the love of poetry in me. I learned to play guitar and write music, which lead to me writing my own songs and poetry. This continued for several years and then, I discovered video games.

I had always played video games, just like everyone else. Nothing special about it. I went to college and entered into the computer science program in order to learn to program and, hopefully, one day become a software developer.

I knew I always wanted to make things that help people in some way or another. I continued to practice my programming, making small applications and little projects now and again. After a while, I tried my hand and developing a small game in the Unity engine without any help or previous practice with C#, and from then on I knew what I wanted to do (Don't worry, I gave up Unity a while back!).

And here I am now, releasing my first commercial title. It's been a learning experience for sure. I now know what to do and what not to do the next time. I think everyone has this experience when they first enter into the industry. It's terrifying yet exhilarating. Immersive Poetry is the combination of every passion I've ever had put into a video game format. I want people to play this game and feel how I felt while I was creating it. I want to give people a great experience while using my skills at their maximum capacity. This is the first, and it definitely won't be the last. The one thing you learn in this industry is: You NEVER stop learning.
